A celebration of evolution
An article about famous evolved people whom I have witnessed in my life
My publisher asked me to write another article for the web site. I didn’t want to, I was tired, but then, whilst watching the Live 8 Concert on the 2nd July 2005 I saw a beautiful young woman walk on to the stage who had been a starving child with just ten minutes to live and who had been saved by funds raised by the Band-Aid Concert in 1985 – then I almost cried, and thought – ‘you’re tired!!!!!’ Then I felt ashamed and started writing.
So, I want to write about famous evolved people whom I have witnessed in my life.
These people are in no particular order. This article is a celebration of my appreciation that they came to this world. These are people whom I personally admire. If I do not mention someone, it does not mean I do not like him or her!
For all the people who are good, kind and evolved, but not famous, the webmaster has creating a space on the web-site whereby you can write in and nominate anyone whom you feel is evolved – all you have to do is explain why, and the webmaster will consider adding your contribution to the site. Obviously there are space restrictions etc, therefore, if your contribution is not included, this does not mean that either the publisher or myself disapproves of the person of your choice. Do let us know why you consider these people evolved. You do not have to give full names – we do respect people’s privacy – it is what they did that we want to recognise. Why do you consider their actions “evolved”?
Knowing that there are many dark souls and cynics ‘out there’, please don’t even dream that I am writing this to ‘name drop’ and thus indirectly promote my book. The good people of this world are coming together. I am no-one special, but like all people with good intentions I want to see an end to poverty, pain, war, misery and fear, and the truly amazing thing is, we can do it – and we can do it now if people with plenty will reach out and help those who have nothing.
So, Bob Geldof, you’re amazing. You’ve saved lives, you’ve raised human consciousness and you’ve challenged those in power to feel rather than to simply think. You are the best cure for apathy I have ever seen, and thank you for accelerating evolution.
No one can survive without inspiration and that comes from observing great souls, old souls, in whatever area of life they may operate. These are my personal great souls.
Eric Morecombe, I miss you so much! You made people laugh and allowed them to forget their problems and by doing so you raised the frequency of their energies. You joked all the way to the end, never complaining, and, even then, you ended with a joke.
Bob Hope, your energy shines like a beacon over the world. The total entertainer. Robin Williams, your films challenge ignorance, they make people think, they melt hard hearts and yet you always blend humour into your messages. Stevan Segal, you are the true environmental warrior, strong, focused and incorruptible.
Pope John Paul 11 – Oh you were a strong and beautiful soul who radiated love to the world and you kept your faith to the end.
Martin Luther King and Mahatma Ghandi, you both gave your lives to raise human awareness. I did not know you well, I was too young, but I know you both made the world a better and safer place for me. Thankyou.
Anne Frank, you died before I was born, but your story will live forever and always serve to warn people never to ignore evil. I hope you are happy now, and Violette Szabo G.C. (WW2 S.O.E Agent), if I was one millioneth part as brave as you, then I would be proud of myself.
Kate Bush, you incarnated fifty years ahead of your time and you tried to give people the keys to secret doors of evolution with hints in your music. Your voice and your music raised the frequency of the air, which we breathe, likewise Esther Ofarim and Yma Sumac.
Maria Sharapova, you heralded in the Matriarchal Age to the world of tennis. Irena Slutskaya, you did the same for ice-skating and Tanya Streeter, your abilities as a free diver send shivers down my spine.
Oskar Schindler, so very very brave. The film of your life is the only film which has ever made me cry.
Victor Borge, such an old and genteel soul with your gentle grace and humour. David Suchet, the personification of elegance. Joan Baez, the voice of an angel and selflessly compassionate to the point of exhaustion. Rolf Harris, your vitality and enthusiasm for life and improving the world is amazing.
Robert Mitchum, Tommy Lee Jones, Albert Brooks, Hugh Grant and Morgan Freeman, you’re all evolved and you all make great films. And so it goes on, surely we are not just the total of our soul’s achievements throughout many lifetimes, but also are we not the total of all we have seen and been inspired by? These are the people who have inspired me, my personal heroes and heroines. You also will have your own inspirational people, so, tell us!
Let’s bring all that is good together, raise the consciousness of this world and make wicked people flee away. Never feel alone, you’re not alone, never alone. Let’s move onwards and upwards, let us impress the Universe.
Now, that would be something to be proud of!
